I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

  • How much is my copayment?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Can my therapy provider give me a superbill that you all will reimburse me for?

Payment:

Payment must be made prior to the start of the session. I accept health care savings account and all major credit and debit cards as forms of payment. Checks will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can therapy help me?

The thought of therapy can bring many questions for someone who is new to the experience. Although therapy may be a new experience for you, therapy can support you in navigating through past, current, and/or potential stressors. Therapy provides a safe space for individuals to unpack challenging situations, challenge themselves to grow, and practice new and healthy lifestyle changes, as well as work to create time and space for you to receive support/guidance that you may not be receiving from your immediate support circle. Therapy provides each individual a chance to change the narrative in their life and reflect on what areas they would like to grow in beyond their current circumstances. If you are looking to recognize and accept the unique beauty that shines from the Concrete Rose, then you are right where you need to be! Therapy will be an extra layer of support for you to tap into your full potential. Talk to you soon!

Does Concrete Roses prescribe medication?

Concrete Roses does NOT prescribe medication. If you or someone you know are seeking medication management services, Concrete Roses would be happy to discuss potential providers that you can follow up with outside of sessions.

What can I expect from my first appointment?

During your first appointment, you should expect an open and safe environment where you can discuss what led you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from therapy, how frequently you are looking to participate in therapy sessions, and time to answer any questions you may have. Your therapist may also assign you additional documents to complete after your initial session to better gauge next steps for your therapy experience.

Will Concrete Roses disclose the information I share in sessions?

Concrete Roses adheres to HIPPA regulations and will not disclose your personal information with anyone that you have not signed a written release of information form for. Concrete Roses IS required to report if any individual in services is at imminent risk of harming themselves and/or someone else.

Can I use my insurance to pay for therapy?

Concrete Roses is credentialed with a variety of insurance panels. Please review the insurance panels listed under the “Getting Started” tab and feel free to connect with your insurance provider to inquire if outpatient therapy is covered under your insurance benefits.

What happens if I need to change providers?

Therapy is a delicate service that requires a comfortable relationship between a therapist and the individuals they serve. If for any reason you do not feel like your therapist is the right fit for you, please feel free to acknowledge this in a discussion with your therapist so that you all can work together to link you to a therapist who may be a better fit for you. Please know that each client has a right to provider’s choice and may seek services with a provider that they choose and are comfortable with.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should for any reason you need to cancel a scheduled session, Concrete Roses’s policies and procedures require at least 24 hour notice. Please refer to your signed policies and procedures documents for further details regarding additional information about charges if a scheduled session is not canceled within 24 hours.

Where will my session take place?

At this time, Concrete Roses offers virtual sessions and does not meet in person. Each individual is encouraged to find a safe and quiet space to meet with as least amount of distractions as possible.

How long do I need to participate in therapy?

Concrete Roses offers a person-centered therapeutic approach. Each individual’s therapy journey will be unique and different. Unfortunately there is no way to give a general quote on the length of time one may spend in therapy. An individual’s progress is based upon their own needs and should not be rushed or have a time constraint attached to it.
